Gregory Meeker

Greg graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 1981, beginning his career as an Assistant District Attorney for Milwaukee County. Greg entered private practice in 1984, focusing on criminal defense, injury cases and general civil litigation. greg-img
In addition to his continued work in criminal defense and injury cases, Greg represents plaintiffs and defendants in construction disputes. ns-img7
Greg has served as an instructor on criminal defense and injury law at the University of Wisconsin Law School, and has taught these topics to other Wisconsin lawyers at continuing legal education seminars.
For three years, 1974-1976, Greg was a member of the U.S. National Cycling Team. He has coached many other National Team riders, both men and women. At the request of cycling teams in Wisconsin and Illinois, Greg often presents lectures and outdoor riding skills clinics. Greg is also an avid runner, swimmer and skier, both cross-country and downhill.
As a result of his ties to the cycling community, Greg has represented many cyclists injured in accidents or by defective components. ns-img82
Greg has worked as a mechanic, sign painter, laboratory technician, commercial printer and illustrator. His interests include industrial design and vertebrate paleontology. Greg has served on the Board of Directors of the Madison Youth Choirs and for many years coached Capital Velo Club. Greg is married and has three children. ns-img6
